Obua ve piyano için bu eser, dört kısa bölümden oluşur. Gölge, minimal tekrar, ikinci bir kuluçka ve sönük bir kapanış; hepsi aynı soluk içinde.
I – Prelüd – Gölge / Kuluçka I
Açılış, henüz biçim almamış bir gölgedir. Obua ve piyano yavaşça birbirine yaklaşır; ses kuluçkadadır, netleşmeden önce titreşir.
II – İnterlüd I – Minimal
Kısa, sade, tekrarlayan bir ara. Az malzeme, dar hareket. Minimal doku, bir nefes alma aralığı gibi durur.
III – İnterlüd II – Gölge / Kuluçka II
İlk prelüdün gölgesi geri döner — ama artık aynı değildir. Kuluçka yeniden başlar; bu kez biraz daha açık, biraz daha kırılgan.
IV – Postlüd – Sönük
Kapanış sönüktür. Sesler uzaklaşır, tını incelir, her şey yavaşça kaybolur. Eser bir cevap vermez; yalnızca sönerek biter.
This work for oboe and piano is in four short movements. Shadow, minimal repetition, a second incubation and a dim close — all within the same breath.
I – Prelude – Shadow / Incubation I
The opening is a shadow not yet formed. Oboe and piano slowly approach one another; the sound is in incubation, vibrating before it becomes clear.
II – Interlude I – Minimal
A short, plain, repeating interlude. Little material, narrow movement. The minimal texture stands like an interval for breathing.
III – Interlude II – Shadow / Incubation II
The shadow of the first prelude returns — but it is no longer the same. Incubation begins again; this time a little more open, a little more fragile.
IV – Postlude – Dim
The close is dim. Sounds recede, timbre thins, everything slowly disappears. The work gives no answer; it simply fades out.
